Roasted Broccoli

This simple roasted broccoli makes a fantastic and easy side dish that your family will love! Pairs great with everything! 

  • 2 large heads of broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • zest and juice from 1/2 lemon
  1. Preheat your oven to 425
  2. Take 2 large bunches of broccoli and cut it into florets.
  3. Wash them and dry them super thoroughly.
  4. Put some tin foil on a lined cookie sheet.
  5. Place your broccoli on the cookie sheet and drizzle a bit of olive oil on top, sprinkle with kosher salt and some black pepper to taste.
  6. Slice 4 heads of garlic and place these on the cookie sheet, too.
  7. Now toss it all together.
  8. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until the broccoli is crisp tender and getting a bit brown on the tips.
  9. Remove the pan from the oven and zest a lemon over the broccoli, followed by a squeeze of lemon juice.
  10. Drizzle a little more olive oil on top, sprinkle on some parmesan cheese and toss.
  11. Enjoy!
